she has an iphone 13 and cant seem to connect with the CarPlay. Anyone else had the same issue? tnx in advance!

@dodgeguy21, this CarPlay issue might be due to outdated software or a compatibility glitch. First, ensure your sister's iPhone 13 has the latest iOS update installed. Next, try a hard reset on the phone and reconnect it. If that doesn't work, check the Durango's infotainment system for updates or glitches sometimes a software reset there can resolve issues. Good luck sorting it out!

I had the same issue with my carplay before. First, try a different usb cable to see if that fixes it, sometimes they go bad without you realizing, then you can now restart both the iPhone and the car's system too, that might reset any connection issues. Also, make sure carplay is enabled in your iPhone's settings under general

if she's using a cable, then replace the cable. Those cheap chinese things they call cables are trash and often cause more problems than anything

This is a common issue. Most likely it's going to be resolved with a software update. Nothing new that I can contribute since they already said the lot but you can definitely ask help for an upgrade from your dealer.
