Random channel changes fix, anyone?

I'm battling random channel changes on my GTs radio. It's like the radio's got a mind of its own! After trying all the resets I could find online, I'm looking for simple fixes or reliable advice without spending a fortune

Id start by checking for loose connections or interference from other devices. If that doesnt work try cleaning the contacts on the radios wiring harness with a bit of contact cleaner. Did something similar with my old stereo and it saved me a trip to the shop. Is the issue happening only while driving or even when the car is parked?

I'll check for loose connections and clean the wiring harness contacts with contact cleaner. My '00 Durango never had this issue so it's a bit puzzling to see it happening on the GT. The problem shows up when parked and driving. Could interference play a role? @rest&relaxationLLC

Could be interference especially if other devices are nearby. Have you noticed any patterns where changes occur frequently?

It could be a stuck steering control, a loose ground connection, or some interference causing the issue. Make sure to check all the connections and consider turning off the auto-scan feature if it's on. That might help you avoid dealing with replacing parts unneccessarily

The issue is actually all buttoned up now, but it's good to have these extra checks in my back pocket.
