I can't believe this is my first post but I was looking for where we can get some advice, so here it goes..

I was on a call with my parents and that's when they only told me that somebody tried to steal my dad's '18 challenger R/T Thursday morning!! The bad guy/s tried to jimmy the lock on the passenger side so electronic lock isn't working!

They're really upset and I'm worried about him paying the $500 insurance deductible. Does anyone here know how to remove the door panel properly? I can gather some friends and we can try to fix it for him!

That is so lucky of you guys, hope the bad guys got caught or something. Anyway, a bunch of screwdrivers and some plastic pry tools are your needs.

as @legend1 said screwdrivers and plastic pry tools is all you'll need, just be carefull when pulling the pannel off not to damage any of the connectors. YOu plan on replacing the mechanism or you just want to open up the door and see what's going on?

That's so much money. Why the hell is it his fault? Do they have cameras where they live? Might be worth setting it up for them because the culprit might come back for it.
