Does anyone here use a cold air intake? I'm thinking about using one on my car, but I wonder, if it is worth it guys? I want to hear your experience first about this. What's the difference if I use a cold air intake?

I've used a cold air intake before and honestly, the difference wasn't all that impressive. People hype them up, but unless the rest of your setup supports it, like a proper tune and exhaust, it's mostly just intake noise and a placebo bump in performance. You'll hear more whoosh, maybe a touch sharper throttle, but don't expect any real gains unless your stock airbox is severely restrictive. what 'm saying n essence is that It's not a waste, but it's not the upgrade people make it out to be either, feels more cosmetic than functional in most cases.

I was just talking with a buddy about this recently. He has K&N and was raving about the sound and throttle response. It gives the Durango a nice, deep growl, especially when you floor it. He said you won't feel a massive horsepower boost, but the extra fun and the sound alone made it worth it for him. Just make sure you get a good quality one that fits well!
