Should I upgrade to a new R/T?

I already got a 2008 RT and it has gained like 150k miles already. It's still good, don't get me wrong, but it would probably cost a lot to do the fix. Anyway, I wanna get the latest R/T. As I said I'm quite loyal to this Durango. I like the 8-speed transmission. Is the upgrade gonna be worth the money or should I stick with my old one? To those who also upgraded, thoughts?

Newer is often better, so it's the same with the Durango. Better fvehicle overall and the 8speed is smooth on shifts. The upgrade will probably be worth it especially when you consider some of the potential maintenance costs you'll have on the old Durango. 150k doesn't sound like much, but you'll start to get some of the more expensive services

What kind of repairs are you looking at for your 2008 R/T? If it's a big cost and you're loving the 8-speed, upgrading could be worth it for better tech and efficiency

If you love your Durango and you're eyeing the latest R/T with the 8 speed, it's definitely worth the upgrade, looking at better performance, smoother shifts, and more tech. With 150k miles on your 'RT and likely rising maintenance costs, switching to a newer model could save you a bunch of headaches long term. Green flag for me

If your '08 is still running strong and you're okay with the maintenance costs, sticking with it isn't a bad call either, well depends on what you want anyway, we can only give our comments,, your call at the end of the day
