Hi I have a 2004 Durango limited and suddenly it has no heat at the back? front ones are fine but the rear vents are blowing cold air. A few stores told me that this might be because of a blend door actuator? unfortunately, this part has been discontinued . where do you get your auto parts? i'm good with used ones.

I would also say that it has to be the faulty blend door actuator that controls the airflow to the rear. If that part is discontinued, you should try to look for used parts on rockauto or ebay

yeah, the rear blend door actuator is likely the problem, right catch you got there. if it fails it just defaults to cold and stop working altogether. you can get old parts from car-part.com or ebay yes like @CrushTest1 here said. you can also look at local junkyards as far as i know 2004 durangos are still common there.

Mostly on social media groups like the ones facebook has, and classified ads, buy, sell & trade forums are available here too.

Used ones are always available on eBay but if you want something you can check first, visit your local junk shop. Agree with @midavida112.
