I've been using my 2021 GT for a year and half now and I'm thinking about upgrading the headlights and turn signals, the stock ones just aren't cutting it for me at night, especially on back roads. I'm hoping to get something noticeably brighter without blinding oncoming traffic. I don't know if anyone has changed to LEDs or HIDs, so I'm open to suggestions if you've done any mods please or have some knowledge there

I think if you ask anyone, ppl will tell you that LED is better than HID. it's more energy efficient, longer lifespan, and lights up instantly without having to wait

Yes they are garbage, you're not imagining it, and swapping to LEDs is the easiest win, something like the cyclops or denali kits, look HIDs are outdated, slower startup, more wiring hassle, and its not even worth it unless you're into retrofitting projectors. do the LEDs properly, and you'll wonder why you waited this long.

Up. @Qurius-one I don't know if you ended up going for it. Really crisp and you'll get clean light without ticking off drivers. Just make sure they're DOT-approved.

I completely agree,LEDs are definitely the way to go now. They're easier to install, provide instant light, and create way less hassle. But I'm curious, does anyone still prefer HIDs for any reason?
